The minimal skincare routine that actually works ✨
You do NOT need 15 products to have healthy skin.
In fact, one of the biggest reasons people struggle with irritation, breakouts, and inconsistency is because they’re constantly switching products or overwhelming their skin.
A simple routine done consistently will almost always outperform an overcomplicated routine.
If I had to simplify skincare down to the essentials, this is where I would start:
✔ Cleanse
A gentle cleanse removes buildup, excess oil, SPF, sweat, and debris without stripping the skin barrier.
✔ Exfoliate
Exfoliation helps remove compacted dead skin, improve texture, support product penetration, and keep the skin looking fresh and balanced.
The key is controlled exfoliation not overdoing it.
✔ Moisture+
Hydration and barrier support are what keep the skin functioning properly.
Without proper moisture, the skin becomes reactive, inflamed, dehydrated, or overly oily trying to compensate.
That’s it.
Simple. Consistent. Effective.
This is why I love keeping routines barrier-first and intentional instead of chasing every skincare trend online.
Healthy skin is usually built through:
Consistency
Hydration
Barrier support
Patience
Not aggressive routines.
Sometimes simplifying your routine is exactly what your skin has been asking for.

I never realized how imparitive hydration is to our skin. Being a fair skin goddess I wish someone had told me this in my teens
