Open space on your books is not a sign you’re failing.

It’s a reminder that there are still people in your city walking around with a skin concern you already know how to fix and they need to know you exist!

Let’s reframe it:

  • Every open slot = one person who could be feeling more confident this week because of you.

  • Every client who leaves without homecare = results that could have lasted, but won’t, because they don’t have a plan.

You are not ‘bothering’ people when you promote your openings or recommend retail—you are doing your job as a professional:

  • Inviting them into your schedule is offering them a solution, not begging for a favor.

  • Recommending product is finishing the treatment plan, not being pushy.

This week inside Meaux Co Preauxs, I want you to:

  • Post your wins (big or small): fully booked days, one retail convo you were proud of, a client who said “yes” to your full regimen.

  • Share one script or line that felt good when you talked about openings or products.

If you’re reading this and you’re not inside the Preauxs group yet, this is your sign.

Join the Meaux Co Preauxs on our site so you’re not trying to grow your business alone—we’re giving you the education, scripts, and support to keep those books and shelves moving.

You’re not “just” an esthetician.

You’re a confidence creator, and it’s time your schedule and sales reflect that.”

So this may be a dumb question but should I order more quantity of products to sell after a facial? What would the MSRP be on those products? I always make notes of what I used, what I recommend and take photos for each treatment, I also have a paper file on each client with the same info JIC. I make a list of products the clients need to purchase and often help them place their order online if they have time and are ready to do that after their treatment. If not, I text them with the product and how and in what order they use it. I have several clients that want “sample sizes” until their products arrive, and I don’t carry those, I guess I should be. I do give them “care bags” for when their products come in, it’s a cheap little bag I get off Amazon (a lot of products come off Amazon lol) but I put a microfiber towel, a few single wrapped wooden applicators and explain not to use their fingers to get products out of the jars (because of cross contamination), a cheap little headband, some compressed sponges that are wrapped in packs of 10, some 4x4’s and a fan brush…. The entire kit costs about $5.50 and I add that in on my facials if they are going to order product, I also put a business card and a waterproof card they can stick on their mirror or vanity that lists the steps in order and how they use the products! I have a local friend that prints them out for me in exchange for a facial or dermaplane.

So I guess I should order small sizes of products and add those? Until they receive their orders from MeauxCo???
