Acne Routine Breakdown Using MeauxCo ✨

One of the most common questions I get is:

“What products should I be using for acne?”

The answer depends on your skin, your barrier health, and the type of acne you’re experiencing.

But if you’re looking for a simple, barrier-first acne routine, here’s where I typically start:

GROWING

Good morning y'all! I'm here looking for some of your best ideas on how to get more people in the door. I have been stuck at about $7Kish months for a couple of years now and I'm just not growing fast enough. My area is saturated, I'm in a small town yet there are about 7 other businesses doing the same thing on my street alone. I really don't want to discount myself-I've been doing this for a decade. I'm open to any ideas or feedback!

I am so sorry I am just now responding @cherrie but here are my thoughts for you! Also please feel free to always reach out to me through email as well with any further questions ashleym@meauxcopro.com

One thing that helped me shift my mindset was realizing I didn’t need more clients I needed to become known for something specific.

In a saturated market, it’s hard to compete as “another esthetician.” It’s much easier to compete as:

• The acne specialist

• The pigmentation specialist

• The sensitive skin expert

• The corrective peel provider

• The neurodivergent-friendly esthetician

• The inclusive esthetician

I would also look at partnerships instead of discounts. Build relationships with gyms, yoga studios, hair stylists, tattoo artists, massage therapists, bridal vendors, and local businesses that serve your ideal client.

Education-based marketing has been huge too. Teaching people why they have a problem and how to solve it builds trust much faster than posting promotions.

After a decade in business, I wouldn’t discount either. I’d focus on increasing perceived value, improving retention, and becoming the go-to expert for a specific concern.

$7k months are already proof you’ve built something people trust. The question may not be “How do I get more clients?” but “How do I become unforgettable to the right ones?” 🤍
